Angelika Sówka is a visual artist form Poland. She obtained her master’s degree in painting at the Pedagogical University
in Krakow in 2014-2019. While pursuing her masters, she additionally enrolled in a bachelor studies in the field of printmaking and graphic design at the same university – she graduated in 2018. Currently she lives in Montreal, Canada. Beginning in January 2020, she had the opportunity to work as the artist in residence in Artspace at Untitled, where she further developed and utilized her skills in the art of screen printing. She displayed her artworks on individual and group exhibitions
in Poland and United States. Angelika expresses her emotions through her art, usually by creating abstract pieces incorporating many diverse techniques. Artist deals with printmaking, painting, photography, drawing and installation.  Her artworks are characterized by an expressive, intuitive operation. She observes her friends, family and her own relationships, which inspires her to create art.
